The top squares of Madrid

Spring is already in Madrid. The good weather we are enjoying invites us to walk through its streets. What do you think if we make a selection of the places that musn’t forget to visit?

1- Plaza de Oriente
This one is placed in the historic center, there is a rectangular square and is right next two of the most important buildings of the city: the Royal Palace and the Royal theatre. It’s just a few meters from the Hotel
2-Plaza Cibeles
Undoubtedly one of the most iconic images of the city. The “Plaza de Cibeles” is located between Alcala Street, Paseo de Recoletos and Paseo del Prado. From there you can visit the most important museum in Spain, “El Prado” Museum. You can reach it from the hotel directly by Metro Line 2.

3-Plaza de España
You can find this square in the center of the historic city too. From here starts one of the most famous streets of the city, the “Gran Vía” . Where you can enjoy musicals, theaters, restaurants … a lot of entertainment. Just a few minutes walking from the hotel.

4-Plaza Mayor
The Plaza Mayor is placed in the center of Madrid, very close to “Puerta del Sol” and “Calle Mayor”. It’s one of the most emblematic places of the city and where the influence of people make of this one an unique place. You can be there in 15 minutes if you go walking from the hotel.
